Fat Kitty & camera: a wee photo essay

I am still not well, & not sure whether I’m better or worse at the moment, so I don’t think I’ll be doing any walking today either.  But it doesn’t mean my camera stays quiet.

After I returned from the hospital, my lovely cat greeted me, wanting attention.  Then she was happy to sit – until I got the camera out:

I finally got the camera strap back and fat kitty skipped off:

I like the way the shadecloth makes her cast a grey-green shadow. Very Lovecraftian! – or should I reserve that comment for a different blog?

    • now you see – I hadn’t thought of that. And yes, different blog might be more appropriate for the ‘lovecraft’ comment, but there’s no green-shaded kitty there…. 🙂

I’ll be nice and not keep the theme going, but I just know I’m going to have to write about that one! *giggles*

      • write what you want – please! I won’t be offended. She’s a fat kitty. Not as fat as she was, but she’ll never be a slender wee thing. Unless you had imagined me posting trees in mailboxes… 🙂

*laughs* No, more on the line of “Kthulhu Kitty: Mother of 10,000 Young!” (And yeah, the spelling is deliberate. 😛 )

      • now, normally I would agree with you (doing my PhD at the moment in which Lovecraft figures loudly & am currently writing an article on his work as well), but fat kitty is just – well – too sweet. I’ve never met such a sweet-natured cat & I’ve known many. I’ve known other cats that would suit the tag though 🙂

Neat! I love that sort of thing. My main loves in books and stories tend to the dark side of things sometimes, but I can be -very- silly as well. So, ok, apologize to Cloud Kitty for me, and I’ll send her some virtual catnip. *grins*

Also, sorry for posting so much at once, I just like to talk. You’re lucky…most times I go on for a paragraph or two, like I did over on Tutankhamon’s site!
