Fattee Cattee on Clouds over MtLawleyShire

We waited for the storm, hoped for rain but there was no thunder or rain.  Just amazing clouds churning and watching and sweeping the sky, blanketing down air so it felt like storm.  Wanted storm.

Fattee Cattee didn’t – she was unsettled by the heavy air

though she didn’t see this – a burst of   virga

and she was unmoved by these brush strokes of wind:

She didn’t care about the amazing patterns:

And was oblivious to the cloudscapes:

South-west and south-east

North-west and due west

But I wondered if she felt this: an eye over MtLawleyShire 😀

She was just – unsettled

    • it was amazing – even if somewhat unproductive. there’s the *possibility* of another storm next Thursday – otherwise it will have been a completely dry January. IT’s a while since we’ve seen rain. Early December I think was the last raindrop that fell here

Oh dear – I think I saw that “eye over Mt Lawleyshire” in the Avengers movie; it means you’re in for a spot of trouble…. (Trust me to notice that.) Seriously, your ability to capture these cloud-moments is exhilarating; the images are beautiful, luminous…. – Van
