This Weekly Photo Clannge: Inside involved more searching than normal – my little camera doesn’t like ‘inside’ shots 🙂 But I found some over the past few years, and once I got going, ‘inside’ was not such a problem. I ended up having to pick and choose which photos I’d include. Interestingly, it is the more recent months where ‘inside’ is harder to find – unless you count the fattee cattee 🙂
However, here is my offering:
Inside a neighbour’s flat, their cat , who I call Mr White, watches me as I walk down to the corner to photograph sunsets (charming cat, but I can’t be seen to be friends because he is very nasty to my darling fluffy Plushie and has in the past injured her quite seriously)
Inside my courtyard last Christmas:
Inside an empty shop (used to be a much loved video rental store and the iconic building – in Mt Lawleyshire – still remains empty & terrible theories bound as to what will take over the space.
Inside an enclosure at the zoo – an echidna:
Inside my flat you will find –
sitting on Mr T. Bear (post-mouse house) or curled with Cthulhu – the cat 🙂
and some corners inside my flat (they don’t look like this any more):
and just inside the back door is my desk and wall which is where I’m sitting RIGHT THIS MOMENT 🙂
Inside the clouds:
and from my 2009 trip to England:
Inside the ruins at Whalley Abbey (Lancashire):
Inside a walled garden at Kenilworth Castle:
and finally, inside Tintern Abbey:
Not sure I really got into the spirit of ‘inside’ as I generally take ‘outside’ photos, but I hope you enjoyed my little selection 🙂
Keira

Your little camera doesn’t seem to be limited at all! Love the pcture of your friends cat – bad cat!
The shelves above your desk seem all ready for the collectibles challenge 🙂

But the inside of the flat photos do suffer from low light lack of quality 🙂
I am becoming intrigued by this collectibles challenge but can’t find a link to it…
Yes, the pic of Mr White was an unexpected moment 🙂
Glad you liked the pics 🙂

You rose to this challenge really well, I thought, with a good range of “insides” that pushed the edges of the envelope. “Inside clouds” was a good innovation – why not? Hope you made it to the wedding … and, given the downpour we had an hour ago, I hope it was being held … inside!

Yes, made it to the wedding & no rain here. Not a jot! So inside, & outside. Not even enough cloud to justify any worry 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the post 🙂

Wow I like your interpretation of inside, can now imagine you sitting and pounding out the work on a PhD, hows that going by the way??? Love it when you pop in on my blog and when you blog as well, kind of miss you sometimes… My tree experiment in Kathu was actually a laugh.. my wife kept asking me what I was doing walking around the trees like I knew what I was doing.. thinking of your photos and trying to picture how you would approach the tree was not easy, but I’m glad you enjoyed them… Keep on keeping on…

yes, & I must get back to it as well. I miss blogging & popping in on people’s blogs. I loved your trees but am laughing thinking of your wife’s bewilderment in the face of your determination 🙂
And I shall – keep on keeping on. Tonight I attended a wedding & took photos of people (someone took a photo of me & oh dear! It was not good look!). My little camera is indeed limited inside – & with movment, so I got some shots. Some I think they might be happy with. But I prefer sunsets, trees, water & light & shadow 🙂
Keep missing me – ’cause then I will be back 🙂
& thanks 🙂 I always appreciate your comments.

It was a lucky shot. Mr White is not generally sitting in the window, though his owners tend to keep him inside because he is white, and therefore prone to sun problems just like a fair-skinned human. He realy is a charming cat – to humans 🙂

An amazing collection of insides, Keira! I’ve always adored grass carpeted gothic ruins – somehow makes them even more romantic, and beautiful:)
Good to be able to picture you at work – you’re not facing the way I’d imagined at all! By the way, did you see Jake’s challenge yet? Collectables. I’d day you’ll have another champion collection, if you’ve got the time to post them!
