I’m participating in the onlineadventure travel and photography magazine LetsBeWild.com’s Wild Weekly Photo Challenge for bloggersThis week’s Challenge is: Look Up, so venture into nature and point your lens above you!
How could I not participate in this!!
I love looking up!
Looking up, you become aware of the dance of the trees:
Looking up, you see the moon:
you see galahs on the telephone wires, grooming (or cuddling):
Magpies watching sunset:
You see the city, shimmering and gleaming:
or stolid in the rain and brooding:
and clouds:
looking up there are clouds, sunset lit and coloured. dressing a sky in ephemeral beauty:
& even in suburbia, looking up, there are rainbows:

One reaosn I don’t really rave about clear-skied sunsets
Congratulations for the winning shot, Keira.

Congratulations on your honourable mention, well deserved, really beautiful series of photos, I love the description “dancing trees” I love to photograph our graceful gums.

& I love our gums as well. Thank you
Lovely images, Keira. Thanks for sharing! x
Thanks Anna – it was fun. Now – if I can only get that link fixed….
To get the code working: When you go to the Write page, at the top of the Write box are two tabs: one says Visual and one says Code. If you click on the Code one you’ll get taken to the HTML editor, which is where you can insert any code you want in a post. Then just switch back to the visual editor once you’ve pasted the html code into the code editor
Oh – thank you
Shall try that…
Spectacular trees as always Keira! And skies too
You should try deleting their HTML code from the top and insert their blog url as a link instead.. I didn’t post the code either.
Thanks, Madhu
Someone’s just sent me through a fix & if it doesn’t work, shall try your version
I fixed it – courtesy of one reader
But it all probably means I missed the deadline
Ah well. The next one is black & white & I haven’t played much with that. Shall keep an eye out for others though
There’s something broken about the links in your post. But that did not prevent me from enjoying your pictures.
yes, I know – the links didn’t work & I don’t know how to fix them. But I’m glad you enjoyed it anyway
Thanks.
